Good evening… to all two of my loyal readers. (Hi mom and dad!)
My name is Morgan Hall (my good friends call me “Meaux”), and, for the next few months (read: until my husband and/or website designers revoke my posting rights due to egregious spelling and/or grammatical errors, various scandals, etc…), I’ll be sharing some of my thoughts, insights, commentary, witty blabber, and advice about our experience with the wedding industry.
First, I’ll give you a little idea of what my husband (Rhett) and I do. We rent stuff. To you. To brides. To businesses. To anyone and everyone that might ever need to avoid purchasing their very own RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE, HEAVY, HARD-TO-PUT-UP 40’x85′ frame tent. (To use for one day, I might add.) We also rent other stuff like tables, chairs, linens, stages, dance floors, chandeliers, china, and… you get the idea. Renting and carrying heavy stuff, however, is only half the job. The other 50%? We’re party planners, wedding experts, manual laborers, make-it-happeners, and, occasionally, we’re just that shoulder you need to cry on.
Second, let me tell you a little more about us. (Feel free to bypass this section if you’ve already read our “About Us” page!) Rhett and I were both born and raised in Watkinsville, GA, and we started this “little” wedding rental business as a division of Rhett’s established equipment rental business in January of 2012. We have a six-year-old daughter (who, I might add, is a brilliantly creative little girl), and we were proud to welcome our cutie tootie little twin daughters into the world on November 23 of 2011. (Yes, you are now recognizing why we got into the wedding business… 3 girls = 3 weddings = 33 million gray hairs.) We enjoy spending time together as a family, doing yard work, and drinking copious quantities of Jittery Joes coffee!
Third, please feel free to comment, ask questions, and introduce yourself on our blog! We love nothing more than sippin’ sweet tea on Sundee mornings, meeting new folks, and having a good old-fashioned chitchat about weddings, life, or whatever tickles your fancy!
Thanks for reading my first post, and I hope you all have a fabulous evening~~
