Café string lighting—often called “bistro lighting”—has become wildly popular for weddings and events. Why does everyone love this type of lighting? It’s pretty cheap, highly versatile, and it will totally transform the mood of your event space. Guaranteed.
Mix your café lights with shimmering lanterns and candles for the ultimate mood-enhancing effect.
We often install string lighting over a dance floor, over farm tables at an open-air dinner party, between buildings and trees, over a deck or patio, inside a tent—just about anywhere and everywhere. Just remember—sometimes too much light will kill the mood.
The first question we’ll ask—what type of event are you planning? For weddings, dinner parties, dances, holiday parties and any other type of event where you’re trying to maximize mingling and minimize awkwardness, you’ll want to keep the lighting to a dim glow. Just enough for people to see what they’re doing!
For corporate events, company functions, or any event guests may have to read or write, you’ll want to provide a little extra light.
For tent lighting, we commonly need only to line the perimeter of the tent. So, in most cases, you can easily figure out how many feet of light you’d need. A 40′ x 80′ pole tent, for example, would need (40′ x 2) + (80′ x 2) = 240 feet of perimeter lighting. Pretty simple!
We also offer rustic chandeliers, crystal chandeliers, uplighting, GOBO projectors (for projecting a phrase or monogram!), and more.
Yes! The rental pricing above includes installation. It’s definitely a bit more complicated than it looks and is often installed at dangerous heights.
